Gartner has announced that, once again, IFS has been named in the Leaders’ section of the Magic Quadrant for Single-Instance ERP for Product-Centric Midmarket Companies.
This is excellent news – to get this recognition from Gartner confirms that our vision, strategy and execution is helping our target industries achieve results.
The scientific approach from Gartner means that you cannot gain entry into the leaders’ quadrant purely on having a good application. It is a lot more involved than that and includes roadmap strategy, happy customers as well as a partner ecosystem supporting you.
As Global Industry Director for manufacturing, my role involves me meeting with customers and prospects to ensure that what we are developing, as well as ensuring that what we have developed is meeting their needs and expectations. Alongside this I, and my other global industry director colleagues, meet with R&D quarterly so that we have direct input into the roadmap and if applicable suggest some customers as early adopters for future functionality.
Customer satisfaction is something that we have utmost in our minds when developing and implementing our solution. We conduct regular surveys with our customers to ensure that we are doing our best and the most recent results were positive.
In conjunction with keeping abreast of what trends the industries are encountering, this ensures that we do our utmost to ensure that we have the best software for our target industries.
So in summary, I am very happy that we have maintained our position in the leaders’ quadrant, but this does not mean that we will stop investing. On the contrary, it will mean that we will continue to focus on improving our position and enabling our customers to be agile in the way that they work.
Finally, I would like to thank our customers, partners and our own development team and consultants, in making us a leader within our market.
