As IFS Vice President of Sales, Katherine James is responsible for the organization’s strategy, development and execution within her territory. She is a transformational leader and senior sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry including more than 10 years with Infor Global Solutions. She has also held positions with Aptean and PROS Pricing. Her open approach to communication enables her to develop long term, Katherine has grown companies through organic expansion as well as acquisition, and she has participated in and performed due diligence for multiple merger and acquisition processes for both publicly and privately held companies, integrating companies ranging from $10 million to $1 billion. She has managed teams across numerous geographies including Asia, South America, the UK and Europe. She has also worked in plant design, working with major engineering firms to deliver process manufacturing plants and production lines, in partnership with major global engineering firms and engineer procure-construct contractors. This gives her deep and unique insights into the manufacturing value chain and allows her to relate to the needs of asset-intensive organizations as they work to maximize return to capital investments over the asset lifecycle. Katherine holds Master’s degrees in Industrial Management and Architecture and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Architecture, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
