At long last, SITS (The Service Desk and IT Support Show) opened their doors for a great 2-day show.

Postponed from last year due to the ongoing pandemic, Europe’s leading exhibition and conference for ITSM, service desk, and IT support professionals took place from 11-12 May at ExCeL London. Visitors of SITS can observe how forward-thinkers are navigating ongoing changes in the way we work and allows them to spot the diverse opportunities for service desk and IT support. The show contained a free education program featuring expert speakers that provided valuable insights into AI, enterprise service management, automation, ITIL, customer and employee experience, self-service, and more.

There was an amazing turnout, with 2,000 guests attending across the eventful two days. Naturally, we were excited to see so many of you, both new and familiar faces.

Amazing keynote sessions filled with actionable insights

The exhibition was filled with insightful keynotes from expert speakers, engaging workshops, and thought-provoking seminars. From creating a remote team where people thrive to promoting inclusion and collaboration in your Service Management team, there is a wide range of topics revolving around how to bring the best out of your workforce with the help of technology.

It was refreshing to hear various people share their insights and advice on tackling some of the most challenging aspects of ITSM.

Breakfast briefing with Candice Arnold

Of course, one of our very own thought leaders shared their expertise with the visitors.

SITS participants joined Candice Arnold, Chief Marketing Officer at IFS assyst, for breakfast as she shared how organizations can become digitally connected through Enterprise Service Management. ESM is not only limited to customer service but starts with ensuring your employees have access and autonomy to make requests, log incidents, and receive insightful real-time intel on the status of these requests. Candice shared why the Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, Wyndham Hotels, and WPP rely on IFS assyst to support their Service objectives.

As various talks and gatherings kept the whole of ExCeL abuzz, things were just as lively at our stand! Our amazing Solution Consultants showcased how IFS assyst’s various capabilities can help tackle some of the visitors’ biggest ITSM concerns. We also got to learn how organizations across the globe are currently using IFS assyst to enhance the IT service experience. In total, over 144 live demos were held across the two days, as we demonstrated IFS assyst robust system offerings.

The key features that stood out the most to our visitors were:

  • Out-of-the-box workflow templates
  • Smart analytics and reporting dashboards
  • Easy-to-navigate interface
  • Unified self-service portal

People were also impressed with our simple t-shirt price model, keeping pricing transparent with no hidden costs.

Osca’s challenge

We also held some amazing giveaways that definitely won the crowd. Hundreds of challengers tried their hand at beating Osca in a game of speed. While many did their best, Osca proved to be unbeatable and only one lucky winner walked away with a brand-new iMac in our signature purple color.

Other participants also dropped by to start their ESM journey with our self-paced workflow and automation learning program. We received many entries, but only one winner can snag a one-year license worth £100,000 for their organization.

SITS Stars

Just as we proclaimed winners for the giveaways, we celebrated some of our team members for stepping up to the challenge and being #Fearless. It was definitely a tough choice, but these three were just outstanding with their unrelenting energy and enthusiasm.

Our very own Asmaa Abdulkarim, Ulf Gustafsson, and Chris Burnside were the IFS stars at SITS.
