This is the fourth in our series of conversations with members of the IFS partner community. We want to onboard partners as quickly as possible. Possibly one of the fastest and most proactive onboarding I’ve been a part of is the subject for this interview.
Exsitec are experts on IT-systems for simplified administration and decision making, such as enterprise resource planning systems, business intelligence systems and mobile applications. They have nine offices around Sweden with headquarters in Linköping and an affiliated company in Denmark.
To further understand how they want to complement their offering with IFS, I asked Martin Gabrielsson, Consulting Manager at Exsitec, some questions about what’s next. Here are the highlights from that Q&A:
How long have you been a partner of IFS?
We have had a dialog with IFS around partnership for a couple of years, but it was not until April 2019 we officially signed a partner agreement.
Why did you decide to team up with IFS?
Exsitec has a long tradition of working with business systems and by adding IFS Applications to our offering we will reach a larger customer target group, both in terms of size and other industrial solutions. Another important reason to team up with IFS is that IFS Applications is one of the most competent business systems on the market with very high potential.
What does the ideal Exsitec customer look like?
The typical Exsitec customer would be a company with its foundation in Sweden, but it can certainly operate in other parts of the world too. The customer probably works within areas of supply chain, manufacturing or service and construction.
In what countries do you operate?
Exsitec operates primarily in the Nordics. The majority of our consultants are in Sweden but we also have an office in Denmark and will continue expanding our business further in the Nordic countries.
What makes Exsitec unique?
Exsitec already offers a broad portfolio of best-of-breed products supporting some of the most crucial business processes for our customers. By combining our existing offering with IFS Applications we can provide a complete omnichannel solution for a larger target group.
In addition to that, Exsitec strives to have a close and long-term relationship throughout the entire lifecycle with our customers. This total package makes Exsitec a unique IFS Application supplier.
How would you describe your firm’s values and how do they align with IFS?
Exsitec and IFS as companies have a lot in common. We are both founded in Linköping and are both entrepreneur driven with strong company culture. In our own way, we are both on a journey as fast-growing companies establishing a strong position on the market.
