What is it about a “Members Only” sign that makes something so appealing? Any sort of exclusivity piques our interest. If this was a psychology blog, we could discuss our intrinsic need to be part of a group or be included. But it isn’t – and I’m not a psychologist – so I’ll just tempt you to join the 5,000+ members of the IFS community, by saying that there are some major benefits to being part of the “club”…

5 Reasons to Join the IFS Community

1. Answers

The community is primarily comprised of conversations. Members are asking for help, offering advice, troubleshooting, and sharing best practices. Our community is primarily customers, with our partners and employees making up the remainder. YEARS of expertise from all three are readily available; all you have to do is join and ask!

2. Knowledge

We launched our knowledgebase last August and have been steadily creating helpful articles for our customers and partners to use. With over 1,000 articles, there’s a good chance your query has already been asked – and answered. We’re also constantly reading your queries, and creating resources to meet your needs.

3. Vision

Our product roadmap and statement of direction are available to customers in the community. You can see what we’re working on and learn why we’ve chosen to put our efforts into those areas. Our product marketing team is there to answer any questions you might have about the vision.

4. New Features

We regularly publish our release notes and product updates for our customers. Learn about what new features are available in each release and what considerations you should make before implementing an upgrade.

5. Advice

While the bulk of the community conversations are around technical know-how, you don’t have to have a problem to have a conversation. There are often questions where members want to know how you’re using IFS technologies – what you’re integrating with, how you’re handling specific needs, what hardware works best and more. You don’t have to be an IFS product expert to contribute; come share your experience in your field.

What are you waiting for?

Many of the actions and sections of the community mentioned above are restricted to customers, partners, and employees, so you’ll need to create an account to access them. Just create an account with your company email address, include your place of employment and we’ll make sure your granted access to all the areas you need!

5,000 people can’t be wrong, right? Don’t miss out on all the knowledge and experience in our customer community. Join the club!
