Arcwide, a new joint venture uniting the professional business services expertise of BearingPoint with the cutting-edge cloud technology of IFS, makes its debut IFS conference appearance as the Diamond sponsor at IFS Unleashed.
Andy Green, Arcwide’s Chief Operating Officer, shares his ambitions and explains the systems integrator partnership model that is already creating, just four months in, sustained business value and success for IFS customers.
What’s your relationship with IFS?
Following a very successful partnership between IFS and BearingPoint spanning several years, our Arcwide joint venture creates a systems integrator focused solely on IFS solutions. The creation of Arcwide recognizes the growing customer demand, across all our target industries, for high level, high business value partner consulting expertise at scale.
Before becoming COO of Arcwide, I spent three years running IFS consulting for UK and Ireland. For the first time, Arcwide delivers a single unified experience to customers from the point of purchase of IFS Cloud through to the identification and realization of value.
In terms of growing resource, our goal is to increase current senior consulting partner headcount to, 500 within three years and ultimately 1,000 consultants within four years. We’re actively recruiting from other systems integrators for consultants with generic skills that can be readily applied to successful transformation journeys with IFS.
Since we opened our doors in April 2022, the venture has already grown its consulting base from 100 to 240 professionals.
Unleashed this year looks at how IFS can accelerate business value. How does this relate to Arcwide’s ambitions?
One of the main objectives of IFS Cloud is delivering a composable enterprise and a composable architecture giving IFS customers flexibility and agility. In some cases, businesses may not want the full IFS stack. They might want to implement some best-of-breed solutions or switch new functionality on or off as business needs evolve. A systems integrator specialist that can truly maximize the value from IFS, readily providing integration to complementary best-of-breed solutions whilst running an evergreen environment, is very compelling. We have billed €20 million of new business in the first three months and have already amassed a sales pipeline of over €110 million.
We follow IFS’s implementation methodology, with enhancements and augmentations reflecting our role as a systems integrator delivering turnkey solutions. That means we deliver across change management, target operating models, data migration, full integration, business readiness and training.
Few organizations truly know what their business is going to look like be in six to 12 months’ time. New service-based revenue streams are constantly being identified. Back-office systems need the agility to be able to pursue and support these new opportunities as they arise, and Arcwide enables the capabilities and functionality needed to do this rapidly and at scale with IFS.
What can attendees expect to hear from you at Unleashed?
One of the things we’ll be exploring is looking at ways companies can manage and maintain the assets they have got on a proactive rather than reactive basis. Using the energy sector as an example, we’ll be running a demonstration of the ways a utility company can manage and optimize the performance of, for example, wind turbines. We’ll also be examining the ways that companies can reduce time to value by accessing the right consulting partner skills and maximize ROI throughout a business transformation.
What aspect of Unleashed are you most looking forward to?
Obviously Unleashed is the first IFS conference Arcwide has attended, and we’re delighted to be doing so as the Diamond sponsor. We have a team of around 15 travelling to Miami, including all our senior execs, both to present sessions and meet attendees on the Arcwide booth.
I’m looking forward to reconnecting with colleagues from IFS, and also meeting existing and prospective customers to explain and share our Arcwide story. I’m also excited to hear about the innovation and new ideas that are going to be unveiled.
