We recently had a Q&A session with Key Control Dashboard, A Yellowtail Conclusion Solution and IFS partner in the Netherlands, who has expanded their partnership to developing IFS Enterprise Operational Intelligence (EOI) for IFS customers.
To learn about how their partnership provides more choice for IFS customers, we talked with Edwin Lodder, Managing Director for Yellowtail, who also provided insights on their vision, values and Governance, Risk and Compliance sector expertise.
How long have you been an IFS Partner?
Our partnership goes back to before 2015 and recently we decided to renew and extend our partnership as an IFS Solutions Partner developing IFS EOI!
Why did you decide to team up with IFS?
The Key Control Dashboard solution is based on the IFS EOI platform. With our new and extended partnership, we can further develop our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) solution, Key Control Dashboard. Specifically, this will make Key Control Dashboard better able to help clients gasping the value of being In Control and managing their Governance, Risk and Compliance processes effectively in a data-driven way. We can help customers to be centralized in control on their control frameworks. We can also standardize and give control to the decentralized action and assessment within the business.
Describe the ideal Key Control Dashboard customer.
With our Key Control Dashboard solution, we are the market leader within the Dutch Ministries, but our solution is also relevant for financial institutions, tech organizations, large and medium-sized municipalities and healthcare institutions.

We see challenges around information security, privacy, data-driven technology and being proven In Control. The biggest challenge is getting central insight and facilitating local compliance testing, audit-trail and quality documentation.
Being effectively in control of internal and operational management has a great effect on the success of an organization. However, many institutions struggle with the availability, relevance and reliability of proper management information and risk prevention. In addition, they often do not have the necessary information to establish whether the organization is In Control. There is a desire to achieve central insights, adequate assurance on standard frameworks, a uniform working method, and effective internal control and risk management. The Key Control Dashboard offers this integral insight. It supports the most important processes and meets the highest audit standards and the requirements for information security.
What role does software play in implementing GRC?
Large organizations struggle with governance within their organization, getting central insights, grip and reporting their findings to their shareholders or external accountant. At this moment, the world of GRC is really about Excel-sheets and manual auditing.
