IFS is excited to announce that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named David Eager, Vice President of Global Alliances, and Parker Zanios, Director of Partner Alliances, to its prestigious list of 2016 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners.
Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2016 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.
Both David Eager and Parker Zanios were selected for this honor thanks to their hard work in launching IFS Academy, a new partner certification program designed to provide IFS partners with high-quality certification through a globally standardized program. Certification is offered in 3 different tracks focused on functional, technical and development skill sets. They also announced a 4-tiered partner program (Authorized, Silver, Gold and Platinum) which allows partners to benefit from an IFS partner marketing program that includes co-marketing funds and partner collateral to accelerate their own marketing initiatives.
The development of these programs has paid off. Over the past 12 months the IFS partner community has grown more than 18 percent including the addition of strategic regional partners focused in key vertical markets.
Additionally, IFS announced the availability of IFS Managed Services on Microsoft Azure at our World Conference this past spring. This offers our customers a flexible and cost-effective way to benefit from IFS Applications and IFS Field Service Management. The announcement of IFS on Microsoft Azure also benefits our partners by opening up new opportunities for growing recurring revenue streams in the cloud. IFS also released IFS-in-a-Box on Oracle Engineered Systems.
“We are honored to present the 2016 lineup of CRN Channel Chiefs, comprised of outstanding executives who move our entire industry forward by cultivating exemplary partner programs and executing cutting-edge business strategy,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “They represent an extraordinary group of individuals who lead by example and serve as both invaluable advocates and innovators of the IT channel. We applaud their incredible strides and look forward to following their accomplishments in the coming year.”
“IFS is honored to have two of our executives recognized by CRN for their dedication to helping our partners succeed,” said Cindy Jaudon, CEO of IFS North America. “This recognition speaks to IFS’s commitment to developing our partner ecosystem as a key part of our global strategy.”
