Gartner has named IFS a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Field Service Management with IFS positioned highest in ability to execute.
IFS A Leader Again
For the fifth time, IFS has been named in the Leaders’ section of the 2020 Magic Quadrant for Field Service Management.
This is of course no surprise to us here, and even less surprising is that IFS was positioned highest in ability to execute. In our opinion, Gartner’s latest assessment reinforces our belief that when it comes to the one-two punch of the capabilities you need, and the power to execute those capabilities fully, IFS can’t be beaten.
As always, Gartner’s report outlines the industry challenges facing service leaders today. Per the report, “Gartner estimates that revenue from packaged FSM cloud subscriptions, software licenses and maintenance — not including services — amounted to $2.65 billion during the 12 months ending in September 2019 (up approximately 28% from 2018).” We believe this jump in service support was because of a confluence of factors, including the maturation of emerging markets and an increased confidence in cloud security.
The drivers of service success outlined by Gartner were equally compelling. I was pleased to see Gartner cite the increased demand and adoption of outcomes-based service, with more companies delivering contracts based on asset performance, predictive maintenance, and service output. As Gartner says, “of 54 respondents, one-third were already offering this model, up from 19%, and 34% indicated that they intend to offer this model within the next 12 to 24 months.”
IFS is pleased and proud to be a steward of these new ways to deliver solutions for your customers. Our tools are designed to maintain and manage complex processes, provide the oversight you need, and deliver a single source of truth for service. We feel that Gartner’s positioning of IFS in the Leaders quadrant, and being positioned highest in ability to execute, means that we can provide the tools to master the entirety of service delivery without compromise.
Service-First Mindset
IFS has always taken pride in our ability to offer a broad portfolio of capabilities, and we back that up with the depth of execution to conform to a wide array of business scenarios. For instance, our AI-powered optimization engine offers unmatched capabilities that can do in minutes what our competitors take hours to accomplish. Furthermore, we’ve built our systems with the future in mind, with the ability to plan multiple horizons of service delivery. To that end, planning your future with IFS is enhanced by our “what-if” scenario planner. This tool allows you to run simulations for labor shortages, travel restrictions, and many other elements in order to ensure that you’re able to plan for any eventuality.
This is just one example of why we feel Gartner positioned us highest in ability to execute. Not only do we have a robust scope of capabilities, but unlike our competitors, our solutions are not skin deep. At IFS, we know service, and have built our solutions with a service-first mindset to get out of your way and give you the tools to deliver and execute on your service vision fully, and without compromise. We can’t wait to show you how we do it.
