Ever heard of March Madness? You should have – IFS gets involved every year in this month’s Basketball madness.
Tue, Mar 14, 2023, through to Mon, Apr 3, 2023, a series of intense tournaments across the US will air on local and national TV-networks and be viewed by millions of fans across all States.
The tournament was created in 1939 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and was the idea of Ohio State coach Harold Olsen. Played mostly during March, it has become one of the most popular annual sporting events in the United States!
Basketball’s future talents will get the chance to showcase their talent, passion and grit over 42 matches, and IFS will be one of the main partners of the BIG TEN basketball conference and will be cheering every team on as they fight for the finals.
As some might recall, we dipped our toes in the basketball ‘pool’ last year with IFS branding featuring at the Big 12 tournament – an investment in basketball and brand building that we continue this year through another, even larger conference. Over the course of the next few weeks, well over 25 million viewers will park themselves in front of the TV to see some of the States most well-known college basketball teams compete. At all 26 women’s and 26 men’s matches, IFS will be present courtside, and over other key stadium signage, that will turn the whole stadium purple.
This is an amazing opportunity for us to raise brand awareness and ensure IFS is seen by a wider audience outside of the 9 to 5 work that they all do while signaling our commitment to the sports talent of tomorrow.
IFS at the 2023 Big Ten Basketball tournament in Chicago will help build IFS brand awareness in the North American market, which continues to be a key growth market.
Stay tuned over the course of the next few weeks for some images from these games of the players and IFS in action. It’s very likely that you will see a star or two of tomorrow somewhere in there!
