As former EVP & CIO of Shell, I’ve spent decades reimagining how technology drives real business value. From my earliest days in IT operations to leading Shell’s global IT function, I’ve had the privilege of championing innovation at scale across one of the world’s most complex energy businesses. At Shell, I guided a global team through transformative change—helping embed digital into core operations that deliver over three million barrels of oil equivalent daily, refuel five aircraft every minute, and serve 20+ million customers across 43,000 service stations worldwide. My mantra was clear: IT must deliver value that matters—strategically, sustainably, and measurably. Now, as Founder of CIO Solutions LLC, I partner with Boards, executives, and technology leaders to unlock value from AI, digital, and traditional IT investments. I help CIOs turn ambition into execution and technology into a business lever. I also serve on the CIO Advisory Council for Deloitte, shaping the next generation of CIO leadership, and on the Industry Board of Advisors for IFS, where I contribute to shaping the future of enterprise software.
